Report on Eurotop 100 Directors’ Remuneration 2009

Our survey on Director remuneration in the FTSE Eurotop 100 aims to provide information on the main elements of senior executive and non-executive pay. Together with providing remuneration data, we have also added commentary on current and likely future trends.
We have analysed pay practices in the FTSE Eurotop 100 as a whole and, as the size of the FTSE Eurotop 100 constituents varies, we have also analysed remuneration in the top, middle and bottom thirds (by market capitalisation) and compared European and US pay levels. In addition, as the FTSE Eurotop 100 companies are based in 13 different countries, we have broken down our analysis by location so that pay practices in different locations can be compared.
